Most U.S. workers nearing retirement want to reduce their workloads gradually, while others will have to continue working as fewer companies are providing health insurance benefits to retirees, according a survey by the National Institute on Aging, the AP/Baltimore Sun reports. The survey, released on Tuesday, uses data from the national Health and Retirement Study by researchers at the University of Michigan. According to the AP/Sun, the "data paint a picture of baby boomers facing longer, more active lives, coupled with rising costs for health care and other services" (AP/Baltimore Sun, 6/12).
